High Density Ethers (HDE) are a series of non-reticulated foams with a controlled pore size that can be used for a variety of applications. HDE are made from 3.25 to 6 pcf densities. Certain HDE forumlas are designed to be extremely stiff, such that they are employed as a cushion material for arm rests or in hand-held dry wall sanding blocks. Other HDE products are modified with certain visco elastic performance for enhanced vibration damping. The product can be tailored with functional additives to meet unique customer needs.
High Density Ethers (HDE) represent a general family of foams that are used in a variety of applications where specific stiffness and/or strength requirements must be met. HDE can be found in diverse range of applications from sanding blocks, vibrations damping in electronics and automotive armrests.
